Early Morning Lake Landing

I love this lake, especially when the swans are back. This photo was a lucky shot as a group of swans flew overhead to land with the others, already on the lake. There was no time to set up the tripod, just time to stretch my arms to their limit above the reeds, and click! I rather liked the view in the other direction too, in the extra photos.

It has been a busy day, preparing for the Swiss family arriving on 23rd as we leave for GB tomorrow. The Olympus OMD Mark II has been taken in for a sensor clean, boy does it need it! The last yoga lesson of the year has been taught. Feet up, glass of water in hand (no wine till tomorrow), let the Christmas season begin! Hope you are all feeling up-beat and relaxed this evening.
