Bright skies

Today started in a very unpromising way, wet and drizzly and grey, but by afternoon the sun was shining and the skies were blue!  

We had a very wet walk up on the cliffs and watched the fulmars wheeling and spinning in the wind.  Some were sitting on the cliff ledges and there was a lot of arguing and shouting at each other.  Surely they aren't thinking about nesting already?  

The paths were very slidey and slippery underfoot and there was lots of mud everywhere, Ollie and I came home plastered in the stuff!  He had a quick dip in the sea to get the worst off, then it was back to dirty a few more towels!
