Chrismassy Red!

The day did improve but first thing this morning when sis and I walked the dogs through the park it was raining and all the plants and shrubs were dripping.
I think these are laurel berries which I spotted beside the path which circles the large pond in Queens Park.
Indoors this afternoon trying to wrap up parcels .... wish I was as organised and as good at wrapping parcels as my mum was. Mum never ripped paper from a parcel ..... she removed it ever so carefully so that she could iron it and if possible use the paper again the following year .... I suppose that's what folk did in the early days after the war!
