History

It's not a pretty building, but it has featured in my life and felt it needed recording. A Wimpy bar used to be part of the complex, and as a student I used to flip burgers to earn some cash. A few years later the hotel was the venue for our wedding reception. It is rumoured that the hotel is due for demolition, making way for a supermarket. Locally this is a hot topic of debate.
