A foodie blip
Quick-make lunch: cous cous and flat bread.
Normally, the small one asks for "a tees fam fam peas, Mammy" (a cheese sandwich) but this makes a nice change.
We added some basil and cheese (I was up for jalapeños with mine, but I thought perhaps not a wise idea for the small pixie).
Recipe (from Jamie Oliver's site)
250g self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting
250g yoghurt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 *jalapeno chilli, finely sliced
* Anything will work shoved in these breads, if you're not a fiery-hot fan and I bet they're good cold with something like a houmous dip.
Yum.
