Truncated......

......hairdrying session this morning because I heard some loud scraping noises outside the front door.....well, at first I just assumed Mrs NextDoor was having some more work done on the front of her house so I ignored it. But then after a couple of minutes I decided to check it out because it sounded really, REALLY close......good thing I did, because it turned out to be 2 housepainters, complete with ladders, already erected, about to start attacking MY stonework in earnest and MOST surprised to find someone at home. They'd been led astray by their satnav and should have been on the next street South......another 5 minutes and they'd have ordered scaffolding. Oh, how we laughed.....but I didn't dare ask if I could take their photograph (they were way too embarrassed) so I took a pic of some abstract, noisy birdies instead. Boring maybe, but I'd already had enough excitement for the day ;-)
