Half a century

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES THAT I NEITHER UNDERSTAND NOR WISH TO, I HAVE EDITED THE ORIGINAL POST QUITE SEVERELY SO ONE OF THE COMMENTS WILL MAKE NO SENSE.
Today is Angie's birthday - I won't say which one..........
December always strikes me as being a less than optimal time of year to have one's birthday. first of all the weather doesn't exactly lend itself to a big outdoor rave party (at least in the northern hemisphere) and then everyone links your present with Christmas and so you only get a half present.
Now add to that it being a Monday and the chances of doing much special are limited particularly if you only have debts from vets and horse clinic bills.!
MrsB came by in the early morning with a car load of presents and as always with even the tiniest pressie, she had put a lot of thought & heart in to it. Due to busy work schedules, the B's are coming around for the official birthday party tomorrow.
Apart from the odd visiting spider, bee and other such things, a pretty uneventful day. I did some more tree clearing up work in the morning.
In retrospect, suspect a birthday Angie doesn't particularly want to remember. Luckily doesn't happen more than once a year. She is at least happy the animals are well and particularly that Sultan seems to have settled in well and is accepting his jail confinement.
