'Emma'

Went to an outdoor production of 'Emma' at Goodnestone Park this evening. Jane Austen stayed at Goodnestone, back in her day, as her brother married one of the daughters of the house. It's also rumoured that she wrote part of one of her books there - whether it was Emma or not, I don't know.

Lovely production by the Chapterhouse Players, though it was a rather chilly evening - even five layers and a rug didn't work. We did have a lovely picnic though, and I was very impressed by how prepared some people were - tables and everything!

Was cursing myself as there was a point where all the actors were on the stage, which would have made a lovely photo - but my Blackberry was back in the car, mistakenly taken there by me!
