Let the drying begin

The wreckers turned up again briefly this morning at the flood site!

We managed to dismantle a tricky piece of kitchen cupboard technology, move an inordinate number of a lady's shoes out of a cupboard (sorry), and I just couldn't resist taking a spade (would have liked a sledge hammer) to the plasterboard in the kitchen.

It's good to hear this afternoon of the dehumidifier being started up.

We drank to more good days than bad days before we left for the journey home.

This shot needed a lot of flash to lighten the gloaming of midday in a damp abode...
