School (part 2)

Following on from ydy's thought about wanting refugee children to have schools to go to, today a family turned up at our house at the same time as our children had their language lesson with their brilliant new teacher. So the refugee girls joined in and you should have seen them grinning from ear to ear- they loved it! It was sad that they seem to have forgotten how to write but hopefully that will come back with practice.

I had a depressing visit with their family when I took them home though. There is so much hatred and distrust between people groups here and horror stories and blame doing the rounds. I sat listening to a lot of angry people. It makes me all the more thankful for the Prince of Peace- people need to hear about him!
