Pom Pom

We all need our wooly hats and pom poms during winter and it seems our plants have them to. A little seedhead from the Japanese Anemone, soft as cotton wool with tiny seeds ready to be released by the next breeze but is the pom pom in the centre which caught my eye today.

I'm a walking zombie today, little sleep last night has left me yawning, feeling cold and very sore eyes - bother! Its been drizzling lightly on and off all day, nothing very inspiring but its what we come to expect for our middle month of winter, I have prepared a beef casserole for tea - comfort food.

I'll be resting my eyes tonight and hopefully having an early night, keep warm and well all :)
