White nativity
It's been a good christmassy day today.
We had our work xmas party for the children. I was head elf because my t shirt said I was.
Santa was brilliant for the children, the older ones thought he was someone who worked with us which is totally untrue because it was santa.
He appeared at the door and it was like a scene from Polar Express where santa just stood as the children looked on, smiled, screamed and shouted his name. A couple of Ho Ho Ho's and he went and gave out all his presents. The faces of the children were a delight and some comments from the older ones I couldn't put on here as it would spoil the magic for little ones who do believe.
So head elf duties over at the party I moved on to do more head elf stuff with dads xmas decorations. I tried to put things out where my mam did. She had loads of decorations but she had the time and she enjoyed doing her arrangements to put everything out.
This year I decided not to put everything out as mam did. It upset me a little but i thought realistically I can't recreate every display she did
So this year I haven't brought everything out, only what we need. But one thing that never gets left behind is this white nativity scene.
