Scones take 2!!

Another practice at making scones!! They taste really good, but haven’t risen as much as expected and are a bit “varnished” looking. I think it must be the butter milk that has that effect.

A painter and 3 plumbers arrived today so we have progressed a little (not enough), but there is no word as to who is coming tomorrow.

I spent an enjoyable few hours at the Christmas Fair at the gym. My stall did moderately well,  the venue was warm (normal venues in village and church halls are freezing) and I met some new people to chat to.
