If you can't beat them...

Crummock from Scale Hill.

I suppose the title should read Crummock Water from Scale Hill but I don't ever remember a local calling anything but Crummock.  We had a blip meet today.  Five blippers two husbands and two dogs met up for a variety of walks.

Derwent Lass' husband R encouraged me (puffing and blowing) up Scale Hill.  For a little hill the views are fabulous you have a 360 degree view.  This is looking back towards Crummock.  By the time we descended everyone had decided lunch was required.  We struck lucky at the third attempt.  The first two (pubs) weren't open at lunch time off season so we ended up in a very pleasant farm cafe.

A good blip meet with blippers from as far away as the midlands in attendance.  The only sad note to the day was that due to the Cockermouth flooding we were a blipper down.  He and his wife were sadly missed - hopefully next time.
