Lime bauble
Today was a shopping day. We started by taking the Metro to the south side and went to Le Bon Marché. They had a very nice Xmas decoration display, where this glass lime slice decoration could be purchased for the princely sum of €14. Yesterday we could have bought a whole box of nice glass baubles for that price, or if we wanted plastic a very large box... We did buy lunch - a very nice sandwich and an extremely nice piece of flan.
We then walked up to BHV taking in a nice COP21 display at the Town Hall. From BHV we walked to the two other big luxury department stores to see their Xmas displays. While Paris wasn't too busy overall, it was like a zoo near the window displays, so we eventually bailed out.
We finally took the Metro home, stopping off at Monoprix, where I found a nice pair of cords that fit properly, the ones from C&A that I had tried yesterday were cut wrong. In the evening we watched "Rebel Without a Cause" on DVD.
Charlemagne is the extra, he was blipped as we went past Notre Dame de Paris on our way to BHV.
