Up with the stars

I was hoping that the clouds would clear so that I could see the International Space Station again high up in the sky but no luck.  Earlier I noticed these lamp posts and had been thinking about the first British person to join the crew of the ISS. Tim Peake. with his colleagues on their way from Kazakhstan to the ISS.  This evening there was a very good programme on TV about the journey and the scientific work done on the ISS with explanations from the first British female astronaut Helen Sharman and the Canadian, Chris Hadfield, who became famous with his song from Space.  Perhaps tomorrow evening the skies might be clear enough for us to see it pass over.
