For the want of ....

A humble plastic clip but it reminds me of the story in What Katy Did - for the want of a nail the battle was lost.  This clip holds the electric fence round the area the horses eat in and today the tiny strip of plastic in front of the clip was broken on two clips.  A tiny problem but the fence dropped down onto the metal feeders and every time the horses tried to eat they got an electric shock.  So they were standing disconsolately looking at the hay - hungry.   Fortunately I noticed - belatedly - and new clips are on their way.
