He knows he is home!

We are so lucky to have found Rowan. What a wonderful addition to our family.

I contacted an Irish Wolfhound breeder in Canada whose dogs I have always admired and told her I was looking for a puppy. She knew of an available puppy with a breeder on Prince Edward Island.

It turns out that our little guy was supposed to be shipped to a breeder in Russia. By the time the papers, inoculations, etc., were all in place, the puppy had outgrown the shipping crate! He weighs 100 lbs already (45.359 kilograms) The breeder decided to keep him here and then I called, inquiring about a puppy.

Rowan the Red was meant to be ours!
