Birthday

As it is my birthday today we decided to go to Cambridge and start with breakfast in the Grafton Centre. Then we walked over to the Beehive Centre to go to Hobbycraft. I have a large, heavy sewing machine and wanted a small, light one just to do some odds and ends on. We had coffee in Marks and Spencers, before going briefly into Asda. Then we walked back to the Grafton Centre to catch the Park and Ride to Babraham. On the way home we stopped at Scotsdales Garden Centre for more coffee. This evening we are going out for a meal. I shall have another birthday celebration on Sunday, with pizza and cake (and presumably more presents and cards) when we visit our family, but that one will be shared with Oliver who is 19 on Saturday 19 December.

Today’s picture shows some cards as well as the small sewing machine and a very small camera to use when it is impractical to carry a big Nikon.
