In Memoriam
So, driving to work I've always noticed this little tree on a hill and had it on my photography to do list... Ended up being about a 3/4 mile walk from my car to the tree, so it wore me out, but definitely worth it. Apparently the tree has been there for several years, and there is a book called "The Homeless Christmas Tree", with proceeds that go to a shelter in Carla's name...
So this ended up being a 365 shoot that carried much more meaning than just getting the photo and going on with my life; rather, it's revealed a life, a legacy, and a story that I can look into and be inspired by... This whole 365 project really has been amazing for me
Oh and there is now another memorial on that hill, a 1-foot-tall evergreen tree dedicated to Victor Ray Fults, who died on Christmas of last year
