Last snap of the Monarch butterflies for my journal. In this one, you can see the very pale orange, almost ran looking color, on the bottom of the back butterfly's wings (it has them closed so you can see the underside). When looking at the Monarchs grouped together on the eucalyptus trees, you can barley distinguish them from the leaves because they close their wings. It's so interesting to think about why nature developed the colors for these creatures, who do t have reason to camouflage, but they still do so anyway.
