Kirkwall - early a.m.

An early morning silhouette of Kirkwall Cathedral.  Went along to visit newcomers to the Parish.  We have previously visited them in their own abode in Banff and Aberdeenshire but they have finally moved back to Orkney.  I have just retrieved parsnips and fennel and beetroot from the garden and prepared them.  CMC is away to badminton and she informed me that I have three hours ‘off-duty’.  Tonight we have visitors from Birsay and there will be a whisky tasting.  I think Ailsa will be driving.
