Lines

Motivated by the superb article currently at the top on Luminous Landscape, I tried to think if there was anything I could photograph involving 'lines' around the house. All I could manage was this photo of the hall floor!! Most people around here have either carpeted over the parquet, covered it with vinyl imitation, or sanded it completely flat and varnished it. Sacrilege! This is the original, which has a lovely patina after years of wax polishing, and real texture. I've chosen to show it mono (colour version as an extra), and some of the rougher blocks, but I much prefer it this way. It is overdue for another WAX polish, but I'm finding that sort of activity rather hard work at present.
