Waking up to a fallen tree

Last night while we were all asleep, the tree leapt out of its stand and tried to leave, I believe to get back out into its natural surroundings. Many other small and ultimately hilarious mishaps occurred but we all survived.  The water in the stand soaked through the rug to the hardwood - now the rug is rolled up and we have the chairs in the hall.  It is very funny but we will try again tomorrow.  The tree is up again with a hole drilled in the stump and more anchors placed.  Life is good.
