A red VW trapped in the hands of the Fremont Troll

Wow, I have been on Blip for just two days and so many images to share from this last weekend. I hear this is called a "back blip" :) Sorry if this is not acceptable blipfoto etiquette. Feedback much appreciated. Thank you.

Pictured in this image is my good friend Paul posing in front of a (formerly red VW bug) that is now firmly in the clutches of the Fremont Troll, which is a Seattle icon who resides under the Aurora Ave (Hwy 99) bridge.

Highway 99 was once the main highway between Canada and Los Angeles before the completion of Interstate 5 in the mid 60's.

Not to worry, the troll is friendly and is willing to pose for pictures. My friend Paul used to own a red VW bug in his younger years.
