Christmas Jumper Day

Well, actually it is the first of our three Christmas jumper days. We had our Christmas buffet today before the start of the afternoon session at Stockport. We went out early and set up so that we had plenty of time to eat and be merry lol. The trouble is that once you've eaten you just want to put your feet up and have a snooze. 

The donors loved all our jumpers, there were plenty of smiles....especially for Lee in his tutu he he he. I didn't have any pockets and it was driving me mad not having anywhere to put my pen and my hand wash though. 

A lovely man came in with a big box of chocolates for us all. He was the proud father of week old twins and he was riding high and wanted to share his joy. We do meet some great people. 

I have kept all the caps from every needle I have put in and I store them in a big glass vase...I'll stop when it is full. I had no pocket today so I kept sticking them in my bra....I'd forgotten all about them until I was getting ready for bed just now and they all fell onto the floor. It was a good job I wasn't in an accident on the way home, the paramedics would have wondered what on earth I'd been doing lol.
