HOUSE AND BIRD

This grand Queenslander is a neighbour. Our children dubbed it "the wedding cake house" referring to the fine cast iron decoration. 
The bird - a poor shot because he wouldn't come out of the shrubbery for me [excuses!]  - is of a pheasant cougal. A large floppy sort of bird that seems a bit aerodynamically challenged.  It has a "woop woop" call sound. It was a boring shot so I gave it a surreal treatment
