Spot the little tinker

Me and A went into the city this morning. We didn't really have much planned to do, but I wanted to show him the lights in the shopping centre.

He absolutely loved them and we stood looking at the gift giving tree for ages. A doesn't care much for his pushchair when out and about shopping so he spent most of his time walking. He also spent a lot of time touching everything and trying to hide from me! I played along as for once we weren't on a time schedule. We had such a lovely morning. We admired the Christmas tree in cathedral square, we enjoyed pressing buttons in the lifts, we snuggled giant teddy bears and to top it off we had a ride on the merry-go-round. Sometimes the best time are the ones that are unplanned.

This evening the kiddies got in their PJ's straight after tea and then waited to see Father Christmas come round with the local fire service. A was in his element with the big fire engine noisily going past and P hand delivered her letter to Santa to one of the elves. It's such a nice thing to do in the community and good to see so many of the neighbours out on the street in support for our local fire crew.
