The Reusers' Christmas Attic

Do you remember "The Wombles"? This place made me think of them and the words of their theme song "...making good use of the things that we find, things that the everyday folk leave behind". It is a fascinating place just down the road from D&M's house, where people donate things they no longer want and they provide employment to a team of workers who sort, organize, repair and resell the discarded items. I have also heard it referred to as "The Jericho Project". It is like a rabbit warren, with separate rooms for each category, ending in this Christmas Room right at the top of the house up some very steep and rickety stairs. I had such fun exploring there with my sister this morning before leaving for our last visit with some friends near London this evening and an early flight back home tomorrow
