Lamppost

The forecast weather of cloud was wrong.  It was sunny (and windy) and we did a fair bit of stomping around - I'm a fan of exploring on foot.

We did a fair few touristy things - Little Mermaid, Amalienborg, Street Food Market and basically made the most of the lovely daylight that we had.  In the evening we went back to the Street Food Market - thoroughly recommended if you want to eat food in very relaxed surroundings.  It is also home to large collection of beards (beardage?) and acres of tattoos.

We also visited Christiania - the alternative part of the city.  They ask you not to take pictures there and so we didn't.  Some of it very obviously is a hippy commune and some of it is just neds.  I was a bit disappointed.

However, this lamppost cheered me up.  I liked this a lot.
