Misty Plantation

Finlay and I walked up to wards Headley Hall this morning - it was quite misty. A lot warmer than yesterday and I was soon wishing I hadn't put my thick sweater on!

I have looked at this plantaion many times before thinking there must be a photograph in there somewhere. Today I may have found it. The bare trees all huddled together with the mist giving a sort of soft-focus effect and muting all the colours.

The trees are all aligned with such precision which gives a weird effect when you look at it from one corner as I did here.

Home for coffee and making a vat of carrot and coriander soup. Plenty for the freezer.
