Balnakiel boat remains

Despite the way it looks in the picture it was a really nice day today. We had a lazy morning then Roz and I went for a walk along Balnakiel Bay. We realised that in all the years we've come here we've never made it to the end of Faraid Head where the former early warning centre was. All in it's about four miles from the cottage.

It was a nice walk too. As we got to the early warning centre the weather started turning and it was a bit grey and cloudy on the way back. It stayed dry though. We spotted the remains of this boat which was fairly old if the nails in it are anything to go by. We can't find anything about it on the internet though.

We stopped in for hot chocolate at cocoa mountain before heading home for a brief nap then the Chili I cooked yesterday.
