Portables

Honolulu Marathon Sunday    Our area is the turnaround point on an out and back course, so almost everyone, if not running, has a lazy morning in.  Well, I never got started til mid-afternoon.  Going into town, I saw very few people still on the course.  However, coming back home at about 5:30 PM, I spotted one group of 5 slowly walking their way back in, not quite reaching Kahala, which means they had about another 5 miles to go to the finish line in Kapiolani Park.   There is no time-limit, so they were still racing!  They had a  very  long day.   Start is 5:00 AM, men's winners take less than 2 hours, 15 minutes.  

I missed a gorgeous sunset, so thought I would settle for this 'long shot' of port-a-potties.
