Set off from Lizzy's and started on the A1 southbound. Stopped to get a pic of the famous Angel. There's something amazing about her. Close up, she is immense.

Various stops along the way, including a services place that I'd definitely been to before. Weird when you turn off into these places and they are instantly recognisable...

The driving music I'd burned helped keep me awake whilst I was on the road.

Into a Travelodge this evening. Not the most salubrious of places to say the least, and just had dinner from a petrol station. Keeping it classy...

Ah well, will be eating fantastic food in a couple of days' time!
