The Snow Stayed

Thanks for all your comments on yesterdays snowy shot. I was surprised to learn just how localised it had been.

This morning I was reluctant to take the car out in the crunchy snow so I donned my boots and spiky things and set of for a walk around the village.

The beach tree in the centre was, until recently one of a pair. They had been allowed to grow too near the wall and the other had caused cracks to appear.I noticed that on the Google Map it is still showing and I was reminded that it was a Copper Beech.
