The Village School.

Much to my surprise the snow which had been going slushy at bed time was still here and very crisp.  The condition of the local roads made going far looking for photos not very sensible.  So I had a walk round the village looking for likely shots.

On my way back I realised I hadn't recorded the village school for posterity.  It was recorded for a short while by the Lilliput Lane range modeled by a friend of ours.

The school is lucky to still be going strong as in 1981 it was under threat of closure.  Having our first child on the way we fought hard along with other parents.  That effort coupled by the intervention of a Lady with some very influential contacts kept it open.  It has thrived ever since.
