mummy!

A picture of my late and lovely mummy, discovered in a little envelope of her school reports which were lovingly retained by my Grandma for decades. I struggle to avoid morbid thoughts of why I bother keeping little bits and pieces like these for my own little people when one day my grandchild may sit and sob and wonder what the heck to do with it all. Beyond that, it's always fascinating to glimpse Mum's past if one can overcome the desperate need to ask her questions about it.

Bit of a morbid blip but there was a lot of good stuff about today too.
