Decrepidotus
The Radio 4 weather forecast for the east of England was cold and dank, and for once they were right. I should have gone out for a walk, but I couldn't motivate myself at all, so stayed at home and pootled. Pete has been doing a lot of restoration work in the garden, and found these fungi in profusion on the decaying wood of the compost frame that he'd recently dismantled. I think they're an Oysterling (Crepidotus) of some kind, but they are very tiny, barely 5mm across, and a soft mink brown in colour.
The tidying for Christmas has seemed to create even more chaos - I just hope it's a case of it getting worse before it gets better!
