Deserted

I had left my car at work yesterday in order to go out for a few "refreshments".

Before I went to pick it up, I decided to take a walk up to the deserted Forth Road Bridge. Partly to get some photos, partly to help blow away the hangover cobwebs.

It was a really weird feeling to stand in the middle of Scotland's main North  / South motorway with my camera. We are assured that the bridge will be opened in time for returning to work in the new year. Having seen some photos of the faulty steelwork, I have my doubts.

I hope I'm wrong.....
