Quintessential Ely

The cathedral as the centrepiece. Ancient buildings in the city centre where the well heeled mill around. The occasional chav in tight leggings.

I resembled a chav with tatty fingerless gloves, tan that looks fake in December, headphones and a puffer jacket (gilet) and felt I was more likely to be profiled when I went shopping. If only it was clear that I was listening to the likes of Adele and had a reusable bag under my arm for the asparagus and other items on my list.
