Ivy

Yesterday was the Price's family Christmas get together and this year was a little bit special.

As the party was in full swing, Emma my girlfriend's cousin felt a little bit funny and a few people noticed she was in a bit of discomfort, being nine months pregnant I suppose this is to be expected. As the annual parcel game was coming to an end Emma seemed to be rushing to end the game (this is unusual as this game can go on for hours).

As soon as she opened the last parcel she announced that she thought her waters may have broken. Within a couple of minutes she was on her way to her own house to give birth to the lovely little Ivy. She had planned on a home birth and luckily she was only three minutes away.

Much to our surprise this morning (only 8 hours later) she returned to her parents house where we were with the tiny one so we could all meet her. This is the newest new born baby I have ever seen and I was totally blown away by how well mom was doing after no sleep and bringing a gorgeous little baby into the world.
