Before breakfast.

Breakfast is very important in the Knottman household and I almost always have it before going out with the camera.

But there are mornings when you look out of the window at 7.00 and decide to throw on some clothes and sally forth in the dark.

Today was one of these. I think it turned out to be worth the effort. The main picture was taken just ten minutes walk from home on the coast road towards Silverdale.

The extra was taken from the same spot but gives a very different impression of the view. It was a joy to stand there with no rain. Just a light frost and a few icy patches on the road.
