last day for while...

So, had my last day at work for six months. Didn't think I'd ever be saying that!

I brought in buns and so did J and Y in my team, so it was a complete cake-fest!

It was Mark's last day too. He's starting his dream job as Community Fundraiser for Maggie's. I wish him all the luck in the world, although he'll need none as he'll be brilliant at it!

Got a book on France from my team. Gonna get some good reading done whilst I'm away.

Then GOAT ON A BOAT happened! The roasted goat leg was delicious, but the goat shoulder casserole was a triumph. The recipes I used are here. There are a few more pics here.

Had a brilliant night with the people I love; I don't think I've laughed so much in ages.
