Snow stops train...

An interesting day with Lakeland Voice singing carols on the Settle-Carlisle railway. We started at Langwathby station cafe and then rode on the snowy tracks to Ribblehead, where we sang at the station and pub, whilst the wind howled and the rain fell. We rode on to Settle, entertaining passengers as we went, sang and drank mulled wine at the pub in Settle.... and then learnt that the weather had deteriorated and there were no trains back to Langwathby. Now home again at last!
