It's Raining!

In fact it rained all day! This shot of Julia was taken in the rain outside her student accommodation in Manchester, nicknamed "The Toblerone Buildings" because of their unusual triangular shape. We went on to experience some of the hipster scene of Manchester City Center, starting with brunch at The Tea Cup Kitchen, where I had 2 soft boiled duck eggs with asparagus spears for dipping - a twist on "eggs and soldiers", some very good tea and a delicious hefty slice of Caramel Apple cake made with almond flour and big chunks of poached apple in the middle and caramel drizzle on top. Then we went to another place for coffee, called North Tea Power. My 'flat white' was very good. I was surprised to see some well behaved dogs in the cafe with us.
Sadly we then had to say goodbye to Julia and head back home so Zion could sleep in the car. He had behaved so well all morning, despite being bothered by teething and congestion.
