#syfc

Started the day off with our monthly syfc prayer breakfast which was great. However good or bad I'm feeling about work, particularly my own performance at work, these breakfasts always level and encourage me. We've got an amazing group of supporters who are totally for us and it's always good to gain some perspective from them.

Then straight on to the Shrewsbury Christmas Festival for our last syfc gospel choir performance of the year. Maybe it was just from where I was standing but I think we nailed it. A solid performance to end the year.

Back home for: mass shoe polishing session (and waterproofing - not a great day to discover your boots aren't properly waterproofed), food preparation and lots of kitchen dancing. 

Then onto Andy and Lis' house for our syfc christmas party. Everybody contributed to a course and we had a wonderful mexican feast. Carys entertained us all and was slightly manic with all the excitement. Once she was bathed and put to bed we entertained ourselves with a game which involved Andy lapping water from a saucer like a cat, Martin doing a belly dance and me doing something that was interpreted as a a dog with worms; among other things.

Grateful for our amazing team today.
