Land Rover

Today was dull and wet with a strong breeze so I spent time in the garage going through some more old books and I came across this advert in a 1951 copy of Country Life. After  some 65 years in production the Land Rover has finished this year, the cost of the vehicle in 1951 was £570, less than the cost of a service today! Just for interest the magazine is still going strong and in 1951 it cost two shillings (10p).
