A new day dawning.

On arriving in the park I thought that dawn was going to be a rather dull affair until I spotted this golden glow filtering through the trees - I had to hurry to get there as it was all over in a few minutes.

In the afternoon I met up with Maurice1948 in the park - see my extra photo.The wind was incredibly strong but that did not prevent us from taking a few photos. We followed up with cups of hot chocolate in the Pheasantry. Maurice taught me a few things about some of the flora in the park - he is incredibly knowledgeable!
