Christmas No 1

As the in laws are off to the Middle East for Christmas this year this afternoon was gathering number 1 with a feast of food (note I didn't eat the sprout that was strategically put on my plate as they are disgusting) and loads of present giving (the bar has been set very high at an early stage as I was given 'toilet golf'. A putting green to be used whilst sitting on the.. well you get the gist).

The day started at 06.00 with a tough 18 mile run in just over 2hrs through Muswell Hill, Finchley and Highgate taking in the sights of Bishops Avenue. When I grow up I'm going to live there. Very useful marathon training for next year.

Despite burning off 2,500 calories and being starving by the time lunch came around I still hate sprouts...
