Nice Weather For Ducks

Granddaughter duly delivered back into the care of Mum and Dad this morning - she was totally underwhelmed at seeing them again! she must have enjoyed herself so much with us over the last 3 days. However Mum and Dad have been to buy bribes on the way home.....

Popped up to Wetherby for a few bits and took the opportunity to wander down to the river to see what state it was in. It was flowing quite fast, but well contained within the banks, but there was plenty of detritus left behind in the trees and benches along the bank to show how high the water has been!

The poor ducks were all huddled up on the bank - they came flocking to me when I went near - so I suspect not many people have been to feed them recently. I thought this shot just about summed up the weather.

Home this afternoon to catch up on 3 days of housework that hasn't been done whilst Jessica has been here! Hopefully catch up on journals too!
